Whats a good painting/photo editing software?

I am looking for a good painting/photo editing software. That is under 100 dollars, I know about gimp and I know its free, but I'd like to know what other software is there besides that. Whats a good painting/photo editing software?
You're not going to find anything for under $100...unless of course you understand how bit torrents work ;)





gimp is pretty good for basic stuff, but if you want to do more and learn more I suggest Adobe CS2 or Paint Shop Pro 12. Both of them are at least $199+. But again, if you like ';bit torrents'; you can usually find them for at the very most FREE. Whats a good painting/photo editing software?

Everyone knows of photoshop so you could get that if you don't already. It has both of those and is a very advanced program.


Then there's lopts of online programs which you can save to some extent.

if you google it i'm sure you'll find more appropriate software that costs money and works with whatever type of computer you have.
A very good Photo-Editing software available is Adobe PhotoShop CS3, but only a 30-day trial for PhotoShop is available for free. To try it out go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads





A free alternative to PhotoShop is GIMP. While it is as powerful as PhotoShop, it's a bit harder to use. If you can't get your head around it, check some tutorials on YouTube:
