No. Really there isn't one.
This is because of copyright stuff. Making one comprehensive DVD or whatever containing all (great) works of art would be impossible to finance and very very expensive to market. Usually museums sell stuff like this for just their museum and even they can not put all of their collection in there because of copyright issues.

Timberline is a very high end accounting and estimating software for construction companies. Quickbooks also has a low end estimating component. You would be well advised to do some extensive checking on the cost of your insurance as it pertains to labor as well as all other costs of wages. Labor usually cost 35% to 100% MORE then wages when you add in vacation, medical, workmen's comp and liab insurance. No matter what software you use it's not going to tell you that. You have to know that from evaluating you accounting program from the past and if you have little or no past it's tough.

I have Painter Essentials which is neat in that it specifically aims to give artists digital tools that mimic real world tools. There are sets of brushes that mimic pencil, oil, watercolor, etc.
Photoshop is definitely the standard. It has so much power that it comes ith a steep pricetag and learning curve. I have the Photoshop Essentials and never get beyond five minutes with it without feeling lost.
If you want to give a nice free, but powerful, graphics program a try, download a copy of GIMP. It is open source so there is no software cripple or annoying advertisement trying to force you to buy.
If you want to take alook at digital paintings and be able to ask what software was used, I suggest visiting DeviantArt and use the category search tool. The program that comes with this tablet is ';Painter'; and is a special program created by CORELdraw and is simply superb for this type of art.

You could download a free digital art program called GIMP. You can Google it and it will pop up.
There is also a $50 program called Paint Tool SAI and it is really great! I bought it and it makes really smooth lines and it is really fun to use all the tools it has.
If you can then buying Photoshop would be a good idea, but there are much cheaper programs that work just as well :]

I found a cool plugin for photoshop the other day that's designed for changing the color/texture of clothing but would work for a car too. You just have to select every part of the parts of the car you want to change using the magic wand or lasso. The plugin is called Akvis Decorator. Try it out, might just do it!

What photography software can I use to turn a photo black & white but have the ability to select/paint color?
I'm currently using software that allows me to turn a photo black and white and add color/leave color on certain items BUT it only allows a circle shape and I can enlarge or reduce, again it's the shape of a circle. So if I had a flower pic that I turned black and white and wanted to leave the flower in color that area would just be a big circle. I'm looking for a tool/app that will allow me to select or draw the color back in/leave the color in just the flower. Hope this makes sense! To keep a selective area in colour, first of all paste your image into GIMP. Then make a duplicate layer. Turn the UPPER layer black and white, there are a range of ways to do this, the one I use is 'desaturate' until the 'colour' menu. Before I get serious let me just point out that Nam June Paik did many beautiful pieces where he refashioned TV sets and early computers into sculptures which played tapes he had recorded. He was a pioneer of digital art who didn't need no software.
For paint programs Adobe Photoshop is the best hands down. Nobody knows interfacing with commercial printers like Adobe does. The down side of paint program though, is the pictures are not very scalable. They are only clear at a certain resolution.
That is why we have vector drawing programs. My personal favorite is inkscape. Its interface is simpler and less in-your-face than Illustrator's but still quite flexible. I detest Illustrator's UI. I am a Linux user and will compare it to the konqueror web browser (that is a VERY low dig. They should pass a law against konqueror's user interface and punish everyone who doesn't immediately switch to safari or google chrome which slap decent UIs on the same web browsing engine as konqueror). Inkscape is also open source. Unlike gimp, which doesn't handle commercial printers well, Inkscape renderes that irrelevant by exporting files as Illustrator SVGs or as eps files you can literally type to your standard printer and get professional output from.
You get the right tool for the right job, and for me the right tools are Photoshop and Inkscape.

But it is a product you can trust, many people use it and there is a lot of support for it. There are user groups and forums, and tutorials you can find on the internet, and even a couple of books. You will have to take the time to learn it (but that's true for any reasonably complex and capable application).

Ok if i draw a shape in Adobe Illustrator just in outline ie a circle I can select it and fill it using life paint bucket... simple
but if I draw a more complex shape I cannot seem to select the bit I want to fill (the void) only the or few lines will select..

Make sure your shapes are closed properly and there aren't any gaps between anchor points. Open shapes can behave strangely when trying to fill.

Gimp is the closest thing to Photoshop when it comes to features and capabilities. Paint.net is still pretty basic, but it is very easy to use. In its current version, it supports Layers (as does Photoshop and Gimp), which is really useful. I use Paint.net at work for basic editing of screen shots, and I really like it. But if you want something with a wider range of options, then you want the Gimp.
Do be aware that the Gimp's interface is different from Photoshop's. However, there's a huge community of Gimp users with forums and discussion groups and lots of shared info to help you learn how to use it. It is the free alternative to Photoshop that even some professionals use.

Gimp is the closest thing to Photoshop when it comes to features and capabilities. Paint.net is still pretty basic, but it is very easy to use. In its current version, it supports Layers (as does Photoshop and Gimp), which is really useful. I use Paint.net at work for basic editing of screen shots, and I really like it. But if you want something with a wider range of options, then you want the Gimp.
Do be aware that the Gimp's interface is different from Photoshop's. However, there's a huge community of Gimp users with forums and discussion groups and lots of shared info to help you learn how to use it. It is the free alternative to Photoshop that even some professionals use.

GoDaddy.com and get your dot com. Then go to Wordpress.com or any blog of your choice. Make a blog page/site. Put up your info, pictures, etc. They have templates, buttons, etc. Just a matter of typing what you want. Once complete, go back to your GoDaddy.com account and make the forwarding address your blog address. That's it. You have a dot com, site, web space for pics, free dot com email and free forwarding... all for just $10 a year.

Using Notepad (part of Windows), will allow you to edit the html code of the page, once your developer gave you the pages, and you simply update what you want, using a find command in Notepad.

What software would I need for art design (painting) and for quilt design?
I've been researching designs and patterns (esp architectural designs) and want to use these designs with modifications in my painting and also in quilt design. What is a good software for designing images for art??What software would I need for art design (painting) and for quilt design?

There is quilting software called QuiltPro. You might want to check it out - I think there are demos or trial software if you want to try it out. There's also a stained glass software that can make similar patterns - GlassEye. I think both of these softwares are pretty specific for materials and allow you to create designs, and then get a good estimate of the costs and materials you might use to complete a project. One package I'm thinking about getting sometime is called Vue 5 that will let you create 3d looking scenes, and Poser, for creating figures. I've seen these online at art supply stores like Jerry's Artarama and Art Supply Warehouse. for Quilt designs, i would suggest Adobe Illustrator, for its vector graphics.
I just want to add that the new quilting software, will let you scan in fabric and you can see what the design will look like with your stuff, and will tell you how many yards you will need for each color, print out the patterns, and shapes and let you know before you start if the scraps you have will be enough to do the project.
It also has a huge data bank of print and colors.
A fun suggestion: There are now commercial printers (dye sublimation) that print on fabric from your artwork. Might be fun to do a quilt using your art.

The basics of digital painting are the basics of painting. There's little difference. BUT... save your pennies and buy a small tablet and pen. There are used and refurbished ones out there that are cheaper than new. It's difficult to paint with a mouse or trackball because there's no pressure effect (the paint line gets darker and wider as you press down on the brush and lighter and narrower as you let up the brush pressure.)

The basics of digital painting are the basics of painting. There's little difference. BUT... save your pennies and buy a small tablet and pen. There are used and refurbished ones out there that are cheaper than new. It's difficult to paint with a mouse or trackball because there's no pressure effect (the paint line gets darker and wider as you press down on the brush and lighter and narrower as you let up the brush pressure.)

i have lost ms paint, and yes i did do a system restore and yes i also when on control panel, add/remove window components still i cannot install paint, and i dont have an xp disk either, and i dont want 2 buy 1, i just want 2 know is there any other similar software like microsoft paint? Hi there :) Um, I have two photo editing programs: Paint and Photoshop.. Paint is okay for some things and quick to load but it's very basic.. Photoshop, on the other hand, is appropriate for nearly all my endeavours, but uses a fair slice of RAM and takes so long to load that I often can't be bothered using it..
So I am looking for a nice (free) medium between them that loads fairly fast yet I can do a bit more with than I could with paint! If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd be thrilled!!

I've just downloaded Paint Tool SAI and purchased the software license. Just out of curiosity, if I wanted to put SAI on another computer in my home, or if something should happen to my computer that already contains the purchased program...do I have to purchase an entirely new software license after downloading it on a new computer? Free picture editing software with text boxes and such, NOT PAINT?
I use paint a lot, and it always leaves my pictures looking distorted and unprofessional when I save them. Is there anything better than paint that's free and has text boxes and features that paint has, that doesn't leave my picture distorted. Also, I need the pictures to be able to save as .jpg and such.

I wanted to know if any one knows of a program the lets you type things in and move them around. When you output the video, your compression will be at 30fps or something like that for the quicktime or avi, so there's no need to record 30fps and waste space. hope this helps

Im looking to get my car resprayed but want to come up with with a custom job so can anyone recommend some decent software i can use?Car Paint job design software?

I am looking for a software that allows me to draw a floorplan. I have downloaded a couple but they are trial versions or they do not allow me to save it into file that can be read on any computer. Hay ive been making animations with paint for about 4yr.s now. what i do is make the clips with paint then put them on windows movie maker 2 and speed or slow them down and add effects. I just finished downloading the free photo editing software Photo.net. I wanted to do some editing to a banner I wanted to create but I wanted to curve the image to kind of arch. You can use a plugin called Tube Oblique to curve your image or text. Download the plugin and install. It will show up under 'Effects' - 'Distort'. Open your image and select Tube Oblique. It will show a box with your image or text in it. There will be 4 arrows in the center of the box over your image/text. Use your cursor, left click the arrows and move them up for upper curve or down to curve downward. You can drag the cursor all the way outside of the image box for more of a curve.

What is the best software for digital painting and drawing?
I'm using adobe photoshop 7 but I'm using it mostly for photo editing and for creating simple image and text effects. I can't seem to digitally paint or draw any image smoothly. Do I just need to have the skills for digital painting and just stick with Adobe Photoshop 7, or is there a better software that is more convenient to use when it comes to digital painting and drawing?
