What is corel?is it animation software or just like ms paint?

i made few drawings of spiderman and few other drawings from MS PAINT my friends were saying they are pretty good,,but few of them said it would have been much better if i had made them with corel,,wat is it,,,is it downloadable on windows xp,,do i have to go to any institute to learn it or i can learn it myself,,,,,,plz answer if u know something about it ,,,i m 20 yr old guyWhat is corel?is it animation software or just like ms paint?
Corel, Photoshop, and other image manipulation programs do have the capabilities to make animated gif images.

'Corel draw' is a software somewhat similar to paint. it is not an animation software. the drawings are done in the form of layers(as in photoshop), and the shapes are far more according to your choice than what can be done with ms paint. the colours can be used in the form of gradient and texture, giving the picture an effect. you can even edit photographs with it. corel draw can be downloaded for free from several sites. the latest version is corel draw 12. you can join the courses where they teach to use corel draw. my cousin had done course which taught her photoshop+corel draw. you can even look up yourself.

u have to attend computer classes to learn the use of it


u can easily download the software at xp,2000 and much lower configuration computers too


there are some of versions like 11.0, 12.0, 13 and 14


but u can go for corel 13
