I need to add a photo editing software to work on some project but I'm scared that they'll have viruses or spyware on them. Does anyone know if Paint.Net has caused any of the above problems, and if it's any use?

Paint.net is probably the best free photo editing software out there. I used it up unitl I got a copy of Photoshop and they're isn't much I do in Photoshop that I couldn't make happen in Paint.net, but thats me, photoshop is a proffesional program.Paint.Net? Photo editing software?
